About me

 My Teaching Style

Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic style of yoga that links the breath to each movement. We flow through a sequence in a fluid and steady manner and build up to more challenging poses. You can expect to increase your strength and flexibility - not just in your body, but in your mind too.

Strala is a way of being, moving and healing, that helps people connect with how they feel, move how it feels good, and handle challenges with ease. It's designed to activate your body’s Relaxation Response and reach a flow state. At the end of a session, you feel energized, super-charged, and radiant from the inside out. Strala is open to all levels and backgrounds.

Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep. It is one of the deepest forms of meditation and cultivates a sense of deep calm, stillness and clarity. Your body will be guided to completely relax, but your mind will stay alert. In this awakened state, you are able to let go of deeply ingrained tension and plant seeds of intention.

From the moment I was born in a remote village in Namibia, my life has been one big adventure! I grew up all over the world, moving countries about once a year. A television journalist, I have worked for CNN, NBC, France 24 and Al Jazeera.

I recently parked my yoga mat in the beautiful Channel Islands -- and love it here!

I turned to yoga to help me deal with the high pressures of working in live television.

Yoga makes me feel connected and plugged in to my very best self... and the more I practice, the more those feelings follow me off the mat and into my daily life.

I completed my 200 hour RYT teacher training course with Mercedes Ngoh (Triyoga and Yeotown) and have also studied at the Ashtanga and Bikram Institutes in Brussels.

It's a privilege to share the transformational power of yoga with you.... and I hope to meet you on the mat very soon!

Vinyasa Bliss combines the benefits of both Vinysasa Flow and Yoga Nidra in one class. Expect to both work up a sweat and to deeply relax! Flow through a dynamic vinyasa flow in the first part of the class and explore elements of Yoga Nidra in the second half.

Full Moon Yoga & Meditation takes place every month, around the full moon. This is a slower paced Vinyasa practice that includes moon salutations, a restorative sequence, and ends with a deliciously long savasana and guided meditation. This soothing, rejuvenating practice invites us to slow down, reflect and recharge.

Each class is unique and combines standing, balancing and seated postures. All my classes are designed to leave you feeling empowered, uplifted and deeply relaxed. I offer modifications throughout my classes, allowing you to go as deeply or as gently into poses as feels good for you.
