BTBYoga - Day 16 - Seated Forward Bend
Happy weekend! It's day 16, the final day, of the Back to Basics Yoga Project!
Today we're focusing on seated forward bend (Paschimottanasana). It's a pose that often comes up in yoga classes and for a good reason - it's one of the best postures to increase flexibility through your hamstrings!
If you are a bit tight through your hamstrings and you find yourself rounding your back, then try sitting on a cushion or a block. This will tilt your pelvis and should help you find a bit more space. You can also bend your legs and use a strap (if you don't have a yoga strap, use a scarf or even a tie!). I go through all these modifications and a full breakdown in my video:
A huge thank you to my co-host Jayne, our amazing sponsors TeekiUK and everyone who took part in this Back to Basics Challenge.
I hope you've all enjoyed it as much as I have :-)
